Ice-T, Chuck D and Grandmaster Caz will be performing at the Sundance Institute’s annual Celebration of Music in Film on January 21 in Park City, Utah.
Billboard.com reports that the trio will be performing in celebration of Ice-T’s documentary “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap,” which features input from Afrika Bambaataa, Nas, Mos Def, Eminem, Chuck D, KRS-One, and others.
This will mark the first time that Hip Hop has been featured at the event.
“Over the years people wanted to perform so they’d try to get booked at parties, which are isolated events. It made more sense to have a central performance space,” explained Sundance Film Music Program director Peter Golub.
