Twenty-plus year veterans of releasing music, Bronx, New York duo Showbiz & A.G. (a/k/a Show & A.G.) have announced plans for a new full-length album. The group, which first appeared on Lord Finesse’s 1990 debut with Mike Smooth, The Funky Technician, went on to be founding members (with Finesse and others) of the Diggin’ In The Crates crew, spawning the careers of Fat Joe and Big L, among others.
The pair’s upcoming album is to be called Suspended Animation, as a title track leaked to the Internet this week. This will be the group’s first collaborative album since 2007’s Live Hard, released on Show’s D.I.T.C. Records imprint by “The Show & A Experience.” This year, Show teamed with KRS-One to release Godsville, while A.G. released his latest solo, Everything’s Berri last year.
