Cleveland, Ohio emcee Krayzie Bone made headlines this April when he publicly departed from multi-platinum Hip Hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The longtime spokesman for the group cited “uncontrollable circumstances” for his departure, after releasing eight studio albums with the group since their signing to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records in the early 1990s.
In a new interview with TheWellVersed.com, Krayzie clarified his statements. The emcee revealed that he’s in frequent contact with his Bone brothers, including Bizzy Bone, who’s been estranged from the group during numerous albums and tours.
“I’ve spoken to my Bone brothers; I speak to Bizzy [Bone] almost every day, I speak to Layzie [Bone], [Flesh-N-Bone], I talk to Wish [Bone] every day,” confirmed Krayzie. “We’ll be making an announcement about us getting back together for performance purposes. I know the market is big for Bone Thugs performances. It can be even bigger with all of us together. This is true family. We’re going to fall out in public and in private, but there is nothing too big to keep us from coming back and doing business.”
The group, with Bizzy, last released Uni5: The World’s Enemy in 2010 on Warner Brothers Records.
