With the seventh annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival planned for July 16 in Brooklyn, New York, the Brooklyn Bodega announced today that mobile recording studio Unique Squared is among their sponsors. Unique Squared, the online deejay and production equipment carrier will use their famed state-of-the-art bus studio to produce the festival’s first-ever official mixtape.
“One thing Brooklyn Bodega has always wanted to do is produce a post-festival mixtape with all its performing artists. What better way to capture the overall feel of the festival, than with a project recorded on-site? With the capabilities of the Unique Squared Mobile Studio bus, we are able to produce a mixtape featuring the fans favorite BHF ’11 artists,” said Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival Business Development Manager, Kelli Jones.
While the bus will be on-site during the festival’s main performance day (July 16), interested artists may submit to the mixtape by visiting BrooklynBodega.com, RappersIKnow.com, ProducersIKnow.com and SonicBids.com.
Artists who have previously recorded material on the bus include Brooklyn artists Skyzoo and Tanya Morgan.
