While he will not be released to a halfway house again, T.I. will find himself facing some strict guidelines upon his return from prison next year. TMZ reports that Tip will be more or less grounded in the Northern District of Georgia—Atlanta, Gainesville, Rome and Newnan—and unable to drive a vehicle, among other restrictions.
According to documents attained by TMZ from the US Attorney’s office, T.I. will have to adhere to the following terms upon his release:
1. Drug and alcohol testing.
2. A restriction on owning or possessing any firearms dangerous weapons or other destructive devices.
3. Searches of his person, property, residence and place of business.
4. Driving a vehicle.
5. Travel outside of the Northern District of Atlanta for any reasons not limited to verified employment for over seven days.
T.I. reported to prison on November 1, and is expected to complete his sentence in October of 2011. His seventh album, No Mercy, is scheduled for a December 7 release.
