Various sources report that G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has been cleared of all charges filed during a 2009 altercation in Ontario, Canada. A confrontation between Banks, his entourage and promoter Chris Hines began after the two parties got into a disagreement over being compensated for a show in Brantford, Ontario.
Lloyd Banks posted bond and was later, but news broke that the charges were formally dropped Thursday afternoon via the following statement from Banks attorney, Scott E. Leemon, Esq.
“Banks would like to thank his Canadian counsel, Patrick Ducharme, and the authorities in Ontario for ‘doing the right thing’ after a careful and neutral evaluation of the facts. It is good to see the system actually worked.”
