After releasing their 2006 debut, The Staple, RADIx is set to release their sophomore effort, Say Yes, which will be entirely produced by Statik Selektah. Quite Nyce took a break from shooting the lead single’s video, “The Return” to tell fans what to expect on the upcoming album.

“This project will be more ‘live’ in the sense the group is bringing that energy through [our] words and Statik Selektah’s beats,” Quite Nyce says. “‘The Return’ has already turned a lot of hip hop listeners into instant RADIx fans.”

The aforementioned video will be directed by DX Next alum Court Dunn. And with Statik on board, who has helmed the lens for a few of his own videos as well as his Showoff brethren, everyone involved is excited about the project. The crew is hoping for major rotation both via the Internet and television.

“We brought the true essence of what this music is about with the new video,” Quite Nyce adds. “Court Dunn captures us in one of our most comfortable hideouts, the studio.”
