Just because Snoop, Omar, Marlo, Avon and the rest of the iconic cast from “The Wire” aren’t on television anymore doesn’t mean fans can’t still show their appreciation for them. Street fashion label Milkcrate Athletics, under the creative direction of Aaron LaCrate, has created an officially licensed collection of edgy, colorful, and powerful t-shirt graphics inspired by the critically acclaimed and Peabody Award-winning HBO series The Wire.

The co-branded t-shirt designs will feature character images, quotes and street-styled themes from the show, which developed a cult-like following during the course of five seasons on HBO.

Milkcrate Athletics “The Wire” collection, is the latest for the line which has created custom t-shirts for Jay Z, Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Justice, Ed Banger, The Cool Kids, 45 King, Young MC, and many others.

The Milkcrate Athletics HBO “The Wire” Collection will be available in the USA exclusively online at www.Karmaloop.com and at the HBO Shop in NYC for the Holiday Season. In 2010 the collection will be available internationally in specialty boutiques in USA, UK, and Canada.
