Ice Spice has shown her skills as a peacemaker after Cardi B got into a spat with a social media influencer.
The drama began when “Bodak Yellow” rapper caught wind of a TikTok from user @bdtrelilbrother, who also calls himself Raymonte, in which he claimed that Cardi is “very, very ghetto” despite not being “visibly Black.”

The Bronx rap star took issue with his comments and fired back with a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter).
“It’s crazy because when I became famous people said I’m ghetto, talked shit about my accent, call me dumb because the way I speak, say I got no couth, talk about my teeth, my braids, my two buns… and to this day no matter what I accomplished I still get called a stripper all because I’m from the ghetto,” she wrote.

“People misinterpret me because apparently I’m LOUD AND GHETTO TILL THIS DAY call me a hood rat and all… When I sat down with Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden they called me a ghetto stripper. Why is it that y’all gotta use me to make y’all comparisons cause y’all only see the glory but not when I get drag 24/7?
She added: “LEAVE ME TF ALONE AND OUT OF YALL BULLSHIT.”
Cardi and Raymonte then engaged in a heated back and forth, with the rapper accusing the TikTok star, who she appears to know in real life, of discrediting her success by “playing the color card.”
As the race debate continued, Raymonte claimed that he and Bardi spoke months ago and she asked him why he doesn’t call Ice Spice “a Mexican.”

Cardi replied: “Same reason why you felt comfortable calling me a Mexican when I’m Dominican and I asked you why you feel comfortable calling me a Mexican when ice and jharell Jerome Zoe Saldana are Dominicans and you don’t do that to them.
“You do it to me because you know that’s what people use to hurt me… same way as you use my name in that video knowing exactly what you doing.”
After seeing her name brought up in the bickering, Ice Spice stepped in and responded to Cardi’s above post: “no offense bardi its cus i have a dominican parent & a black one [crying face emoji] [black heart emoji].”
The Invasion of Privacy star wrote back: “I think there might be some confusion on what was said. I asked why he feels so comfortable calling me Mexican? I have no Mexican parents. My mom is Trini.. she came out of a whole black woman. My father is Dominican…I’m Dominican just like you.
“I also used other Dominicans as an example because as you should know a lot of times we get clustered into one because of the language.
She then asked Spice to “send me that pic you took of me wit ya camera from vanity fair? Thank youuu [kiss emoji].”

The “Munch” hitmaker duly obliged, which appeared to diffuse the social media spat as Cardi replied with three heart emojis in the color of the Dominican flag.
She also ceased her online argument with Raymonte.
It was previously rumored that the pair were feuding when Cardi B appeared to throw shade at her fellow Bronx native at last year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam.
The speculation stemmed from Cardi transitioning into her hit “Tomorrow 2” by playing the Annie song “Tomorrow” and projecting images of orphan Annie twerking on the giant onstage screen, which seemed to resemble Spice.

However, Bardi quickly shut down the chatter on Instagram Live: “For y’all muthafuckas that’s on Twitter tryna be messy, please, cut the bullshit. I don’t — that’s not me, like come on now.
“First of all, y’all been wanting me to be messy all things. Y’all wanted me to be messy on the song, y’all wanted me to — nah, come on now.”
