Ice Spice’s rapid rise to fame has attracted plenty of romantic attention, but the “Munch” star isn’t afraid to curve those she isn’t feeling.
A viral video that is currently making the rounds online shows an alleged message exchange between the Bronx rapper and a hopeful male fan who had slid into her DMs on Instagram.

“Hey mama,” the young fan had written in a not-so-elaborate attempt to shoot his shot.
Despite boasting over seven million followers and likely being inundated with messages, Ice Spice seemingly went out of her way to respond — and curved the fan in rather brutal fashion.

“Small ass dreads and no Nike tech [skull emojis],” she allegedly wrote back after paying a curious visit to his page, much to the amusement of the guy’s friends, who can be heard laughing at him in the video.
The fan’s phone showed Ice Spice’s follower count at 4.5 million at the time of their brief convo, so it’s most likely a few months old at this point.
This isn’t the first time Ice Spice has swatted away unwanted interest from her growing army of admirers. While out in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week earlier this year, the 23-year-old was surprised by a man who got down on one knee in front of her and presented her with a bouquet of roses.
His attempt at winning her affection was unsuccessful, though, as Spice politely yet awkwardly said “thank you” before walking right past him.
It isn’t just fans who are shooting their shot at Ice Spice either. In March, fellow rapper NLE Choppa revealed during an interview with Jason Lee that he had started texting her — until she changed her number.
“Ice Spice beautiful, man,” the Memphis native said. “I got her number, I hit her personally, we talking about music. I don’t text her no more. She changed her number so I like from a distance. She do a lot of big things… Would I date her? … If she wanna go.”

Spice also found herself romantically linked to fellow Bronx native and “Gangsta Boo” collaborator Lil Tjay after he bought her an expensive rose gold Richard Mille watch as a gift.
Ice Spice’s popularity shows no signs of waning, especially after joining forces with Nicki Minaj for “Princess Diana (Remix)” — which quickly shot to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and stripping down to model Kim Kardashian’s new SKIMS shapewear collection.
