Hitmaka and Tink have seemingly put their bad blood aside and made their way back to each other, despite a wild admission on the producer’s part.
On Thursday (November 23), the artist formerly known as Yung Berg took to Instagram where he shared text messages from his ex-girlfriend disclosing an intimate moment in what appears to have been an effort to promote her new song.

The messages began with an apology from Tink: “I wish I had handled you better .. I apologize for reacting the way I did. As a close friend, I’m not proud of how we left it.”
She then sent him an audio file of her new song, writing: “This is coming out tomorrow, it’s not a single but I’m venting.”

In a wild plot twist, Hitmaka responded with: “It’s cool u licked my ass too.”
Although the post has since been deleted, the exchange did not go unnoticed by fans, prompting the duo to hop on Instagram Live, where Tink told fans that she and Hitmaka have a strictly “business relationship” these days.
“I think people don’t understand that it’s a business relationship. So, in the midst of you [Hitmaka] making posts, people need to know on top of a lot, it’s a business relationship,” she explained.

“I don’t want no negativity thrown your [Hitmaka] way. Yo, I really want peace. It’s Thanksgiving. It’s the holiday season.”
Meanwhile, Hitmaka took the moment as an opportunity to joke about their relationship, comparing them to London On Da Track and Summer Walker or Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine.
On her new song, which is called “40x” and arrived on Friday (November 24), Tink sings about a relationship that went sour, leading to 40 days of separation.
“It’s been 40 days since you’ve heard from me/ It’s been 40 nights since I’ve been asleep/ 40 days goin’ through my mind/ I’ve got 40 lies, 40 different times,” she sings.

“40 days since I’ve touched the phone /40 nights since I’ve cried alone/ I’ve got 40 things goin’ through my mind/ Ain’t no hope in love, tried it 40 times.”
The pair’s reconciliation comes months after Tink accused Hitmaka of getting physical with her — a claim he denied while levying his own allegations against the singer.
“I had a moment in that car when I had to get physical,” Tink said. “Don’t play with me, and please, don’t get on this Internet playing, because I had to defend myself. And Christian, when you see this shit, just understand you’re foul. That’s all I need you to know.”
That same day, Hitmaka took to his own Instagram Stories where he said he “stands on being real” and refused to allow Tink’s accusations against him to stand unchallenged.

What’s more, the producer implied that he’d be taking the accusations to attorneys to potentially pursue legal charges against the “Bottom B-tch” rapper: “She gonna have to pay. I don’t even know what that girl talking about.”
