Hit-Boy has continued his war of words with Hitmaka outside the booth, taking the feud to another level by getting creative with some social media jabs.
The 2022 HipHopDX Producer of the Year continued his assault on Yung Berg on Friday (March 10), taking to Instagram to share a meme depicting himself as a young Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) famously knocking out Sonny Liston (but reimagined as Hitmaka) when Ali captured his first world title in the 1964 upset.

Hit-Boy added more fuel to the fire when he confirmed in the post’s caption that he only meant to diss Hitmaka on the explosive “Slipping Into Darkness” with The Alchemist where he took aim at Southside, Metro Boomin, Mustard and more.
“I only meant to Diss 1 person on slipping into darkness,” he wrote in reference to Hitmaka. “I got respect for mustard metro and southside.”
“Pls send beats so I can help u,” Hitmaka fired back in the comments. “N-GGA U DID 3 ALBUMS WIT @nas & he ain’t give u one verse. Everyone knows u terrible at rapping don’t make me go rap I actually have plaques from being a rapper.”
Yung Berg got in his own Photoshop and video editing bag to throw Hit-Boy’s mug on a clip of iLoveMakonnen’s panned 2016 Tim Westwood freestyle and dubbed him the worst producer-rapper ever.

The Chicago native also pulled up receipts in the form of alleged DMs from Hit-Boy complimenting his hitmaking ability. “You got the factory. Respect,” Hit-Boy supposedly wrote in the DM.
Hitmaka is welcoming the publicity and smoke with his Back In My Prime collab effort alongside Jim Jones which arrived on Friday (March 10).
Meanwhile, Hit-Boy also released a new album on Friday, his joint R&B effort with Musiq Soulchild, Victims & Villains.
“The title is designed to address the topic of the challenges we all deal with in relationships, but I’m approaching it from a slightly different angle than I used to,” Soulchild said about the album in a previous statement. “It’s more abstract, at the same time direct.”
