Gucci Mane looks like he might be dropping a new track later this week inspired by one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.

Last week, a fan hit up the Atlanta rapper with a tweet about how Gucci Mane circa 2009, who released mixtapes at a rapid pace, would’ve capitalized on the opportunity to turn Oppenheimer‘s popularity into a Woppenheimer project.

“If it was ‘09, I know @gucci1017 would’ve dropped the tape today. #Oppenheimer,” a fan wrote on Twitter with a fake cover art.

The viral tweet eventually made its way onto Guwop’s radar as he responded on Wednesday (July 26) by teasing Woppenheimer along with some eye emojis.

Fans were ecstatic at the thought of Gucci tapping into that vintage energy as many called for a new project from the trap pioneer. “Need them holiday season bombs on there too,” one person wrote, while another added in the replies: “You have to do it man. You gotta make this!”

Gucci Mane has taken note of his fans’ desires to a certain extent. According to Kurrco, Guwop will be delivering a single on Friday (July 28) titled “Woppenheimer.”

The track will serve as another stepping stone into Gucci Mane’s next project, Breath of Fresh Air. According to Apple Music, the album will be released on October 13 and features appearances from Lil Baby, 21 Savage, DaBaby, Nardo Wick, Roddy Ricch, and more across 24 tracks.

The 1017 Records boss returned last week flaunting his wealth with “Married With Millions,” which follows the Lil Baby-assisted “Bluffin” — on which Gucci Mane caused a stir when he sniped at Wack 100.

I want my M’s up to one, two, three, four, five one-hundred (Go)/ I ain’t arguin’ on no internet, I’m not Wack 100 (No),” he spits.
