GloRilla has opened up about a recent encounter with Beyoncé, proudly revealing that the love she has for the music icon is reciprocated.
In an episode of The Pivot Podcast — hosted by former NFL stars Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark — the Memphis rapper spoke about meeting Bey at the iHeartRadio Music Awards earlier this month.

When asked about her favorite celebrity interaction since rising to rap fame, Big Glo replied without hesitation: “Beyoncé.”
“I just met her again yesterday,” she continued. “I met her [for the first time] at the Grammys last year and then at the [iHeartRadio Music] Awards. I had just got done presenting an award to TLC and I walked past Beyoncé’s room.

“I was like, ‘Oh shit!’ I was kinda scared. They asked me can I talk to Beyoncé and she let me in her room. I was like, ‘Ahhhh!’ And she always be so nice to me. I feel like she love me just as much as I love her. For real!”
She added: “I get super geeked every time meet her. I love Beyoncé.”

As for her initial encounter with Beyoncé at the 2023 Grammys, GloRilla struggled to contain her excitement as she documented the pinch-me moment on social media.
“I met Beyoncé bye !!!!!!! My life is COMPLETE,” she wrote on Instagram next to a quick selfie video alongside the former Destiny’s Child star.

The rap rookie was up for Best Rap Performance that year thanks to her breakout hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” while she also participated in the epic Hip Hop 50 tribute performance alongside pioneers like LL COOL J, Run-DMC and Public Enemy.
While GloRilla and Beyoncé have developed a good relationship over the last year, the “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker once got fired from a job because of her music hero.
Speaking with HipHopDX at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards, Glo discussed some of the 9–to-5 jobs that she worked before achieving stardom.
“I’ve had a lot of jobs,” she said. “I worked at Nike, I worked at Amazon, I worked at Walmart.”

When asked how those gigs would end, she admitted: “I’d usually get fired. Me and my friend, Gloss Up, we were singin’ a Beyoncé song [‘Dance For You’] and we got fired from Nike.”
