“I pulled on @hitboy & @bighit 3 days ago to do 1 song… stayed a few hours & ended up doing a 9 song tape that night,” he wrote.
“I’m not here to ask you to stream it or download it. I’m just a man, telling his fans a story about last night & the night before.”

Hit-Boy offered more backstory in his own IG post, adding: “The Game pulled up on me and Big Hit 4 days ago and i was thinking maybe we ask him to get on the ‘Bang Freestyle’ remix or something at MOST.
“But instead he locked in with us for the rest of the night and we made a 9 song album.”
Paisley Dreams, the title of which nods to The Game and Big Hit’s L.A. gang affiliations, features guest appearances from fellow California natives Dom Kennedy and TeeFlii.
It marks The Game’s first album since 2022’s Drillmatic and comes after another prolific year for Hit-Boy, who in 2023 dropped two projects with Nas (Magic 2 and Magic 3), a collaborative project with Musiq Soulchild (Victims & Villains) and two installments in his Surf or Drown series.
Big Hit is also fresh off the release of his debut solo album, The Truth Is In My Eyes, which is the first Hip Hop album to have been produced entirely by the son of the artist whose album it is.
Currently available only via Big Hit’s website, the project was largely written during the rapper’s nine-year prison bid that ended in May 2023.
It boasts guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Benny The Butcher, The Alchemist, Mozzy, Jay Worthy and others.
