Fridayy, the singer on DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” has achieved one of his biggest dreams by buying his mother a house.
The Philadelphia native released a video dedicated to his mother on Tuesday (February 14), which found him reflecting on the last few months of his life and reaching the point he could afford to purchase a new home for her.

The clip opens with Fridayy’s mother speaking about her son inside her home in April 2022 and the singer showing the small room he was staying in at the time.
According to Fridayy’s mother, he was on a mission to achieve success in music because he promised when it happened, he would buy her a new home. That promise came to fruition less than a year later in February 2023.

“Chasin this dream I never really thought bout what it’d do for me but what it could do for you & the fam. This why I go so hard. This just a small portion of what you deserve. Love you ‘MOMMA.’”
“GOD DID !” DJ Khaled fittingly wrote in his comments section, while O.T. Genasis added: “God bless you.”
Fridayy’s journey to buying his mother a home has been remarkable. He began making music in 2014 and through hard work landed his first production credit on Chris Brown’sBreezy album last year.
Last October, he dropped his debut single “Don’t Give Up On Me” and appeared on Lil Baby’s “Forever,” off the rapper’s chart-topping album It’s Only Me.
Fridayy dropped his debut EP Lost in Melody that same month and earned his biggest feature yet on DJ Khaled’s “God Did” alongside JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and John Legend.
