French Montana and Swae Lee have reunited searching for their “Unforgettable” magic six years later on a brand new collaboration.
Montana and the Rae Sremmurd frontman have teamed up for “Wish U Well,” which will arrive in full with an accompanying visual on Friday (August 25).

“Wish U Well” will be the first time French and Swae have connected on a track with just the two of them since 2017’s monster anthem “Unforgettable.”
They will look to rediscover that winning combination on “Wish U Well,” which finds them tapping into the African vibes of Lagos, Nigeria, which is where Montana and Lee shot the music video to capture the city’s authenticity.
Swae Lee kicks off the bouncy tune with his signature falsetto: “Come tell me everything/If it bothers you then it bothers me/Restore my trust, replace my faith.”
French then takes the baton for a smooth transition: “The top disappear like Houdini/Gucci socks on don’t G me/Tell ’em we got yachts if they fishin’/Crib, three islands in the kitchen/Cool like the breeze in Jamaica.”
Pop singer Jess Glynne also provides uncredited vocals throughout “Wish U Well” which is produced by Boi-1da.
Swae and French can only hope that the 2023 collab reaches the heights of “Unforgettable,” which went diamond last summer.
French was accompanied by family and friends, including Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone who had a few words for The Bronx native accomplishing such a rare feat, when he was presented with the diamond plaque in August 2022.

“This doesn’t happen every day,” Rhone said, standing next to French. “This only happens when you have a special song, and you have a special team behind you and, most of all, a special artist.”
The Coke Boys leader took to his Instagram page to further gloat about his accomplishment with a post that said he’s “the first African-born artist to ever receive RIAA Diamond certification and the first male artist to achieve this status from the South Bronx the Mecca of Hip Hop.”

French reiterated that claim in June during his visit to Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, where he boldly stated he’s the first rapper from New York to get a diamond certification.
