Freeway and Jake One have linked up once again on “Ringin,” which features a guest verse from Jadakiss.
The triumphant track features epic horns, banging drums and a funky bassline from the Seattle-based producer. On the mic, Philly Freezer offers up some highly quotable bars while Kiss comes through with a slick verse of his own.

Reflecting on the trials and tribulations he’s survived, Free raps: “Second they think that it’s over, folks will vanish quick/ My kidneys failed, I looked around and they abandoned ship/ Roc dropped me, looked around and they’d abandoned ship.”
The LOX MC also looks back on his experiences with shady record labels and deceitful lawyers before sagely spitting: “Guess it’s the gift and the curses/ All about perception, making a big purchase/ They don’t have to know us, they just Googlin’ their searches/ I ain’t been home since the day after Verzuz.”

Kiss closes out his cameo by bragging about the fruits of his legendary performance during The LOX’s battle against Dipset and pouring one out for the late Biz Markie.
The track is accompanied by a black-and-white video directed by Nick Beeba that’s brimming with 1980s New York nostalgia.
“Ringin'” is the latest offering from Freeway and Jake One’s upcoming album The Stimulus Package 2, the sequel to their 2010 original.
The rapper-producer duo announced the project earlier this year and also gave fans a first sample with “Freezer.”
The first Stimulus Package was met with critical acclaim and boasted appearances from Raekwon, Bun B, Beanie Sigel, Birdman and others.
“I just think the chemistry is there. With me and Jake, we got a good chemistry and the same thing with me and Just [Blaze],” Freeway said of his production partner in a 2010 interview.
