Flo Rida is $82million richer after winning his lawsuit against energy drink company Celsius – and he already has plans for what he wants to do with his money.
While walking through an airport on Wednesday (February 8), TMZ caught up with the “Right Round” rapper to talk about the big win. When asked if he was planning to retire now that he’s that much richer, Flo made it clear that he had the option of retiring even before the courtroom victory.

“Prior to this, I could [retire] just with the music alone,” he said. “You know, just being in control of my music and things like that but I’m not surprised because the work I put in to help make this successful. You know people see the now, but imagine the work I put in. I had faith and I knew this would happen. So I mean, it’s nothing new for me – it’s new for everybody else.”
But instead of retiring, he plans to focus more on his philanthropic efforts more than ever – especially with his his Big Dreams For Kids charity and youth football league.

“Being out here in L.A., I actually brought some of the kids out here to L.A. with Snoop. Shout out to Snoop,” Flo said. “Those are the things I’m excited about. I get two-for-one traveling to the most beautiful places in the world. I’ll go and do shows, but I’ll stay there and enjoy myself. So now, it’s just like, think about generational wealth and how I can just continue to open doors for other people.”
He continued: “Just investing in the kids. That’s to infinity! When you invest in the future, you can’t even imagine what the future will be like because some of these kids that we’re working with – I’m pretty sure they’ll be doctors, they’ll be lawyers, basketball players, football, etc. Just like myself – when I was a kid, different professionals came to my projects fortunately and they just gave a word. Those words helped changed my life and gave me hope, so that’s my investment: the kids.”

As for Celsius, Flo Rida said there are no hard feelings at all and in fact, he’s still an owner and still has the energy drinks on his tour rider.
“This isn’t nothing about Celsius being bad,” he said. “It’s about good business. I’m a God-fearing person. I’m a forgiving person and I just look forward to them getting the business right and understanding that I played a major part. This is not one-dimensional. It takes a team to do certain things, but I was that person that gave Celsius the opportunity of a lifetime.”
As previously reported, Flo Rida sued the popular energy drink company in 2022, claiming he wasn’t being properly compensated for the sales he brought as an ambassador over the years.
“It was a time during the pandemic where I got to sit down and really check out all my business endeavors, and this one in particular, I check it out and they were telling me that one of the products I was endorsing wasn’t selling and I got a chance to look at it and it was doing more than well,” Flo explained in an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box in January. “This product has done over tens and tens of millions of dollars since I joined the company.”

Flo also filed suit over company stock, claiming he was promised and never received any stock for promoting the Celsius drinks for years.
On January 18, a jury ultimately sided with the Florida rapper, despite Celsius claiming and arguing it had adequately paid Flo Rida for his contributions.
