Flo Rida has gone viral for performing while holding a young baby at a recent show, after the baby had crowd-surfed right into the rapper’s arms.
The “Low” hitmaker served as the headliner at Celebrate Erie, a free festival in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania this past weekend. In a video shared to Twitter on Monday (August 21), a small baby can be seen crowd-surfing right into Flo Rida’s arms while he performs, and the rapper proceeds to scoop up the little kid without missing a beat as he runs through his 2012 hit “Whistle.”

Additional footage shows another man on stage holding the baby and holding the small child aloft in the air a la Rafiki and Simba in The Lion King.

The lighthearted moment comes after Flo Rida was accused of not helping to pay his six-year-old son’s medical bills after he sustained injuries from a serious fall earlier this year.
The issue was raised by the mother of Flo Rida’s son, who was present with their son Zohar P. Dillard when he plummeted out of a fifth-floor apartment window in Jersey City in March.

The child’s mother, Alexis Adams, is also currently filing suit against Pitch Perfect 74, LLC, Goldberg Management, the company that owns the apartment complex.
Adams claims Zohar, who is disabled, suffered “a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding and collapsed lungs,” and other injuries from the fall, according to a statement from her lawyer obtained by Insider.
Adams also alleged that Flo Rida (real name Tramar Dillard) was not making any payments to help their son recover, despite being previously mandated by a 2018 court-ordered child support agreement.
“I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting, and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero,” Adams said.

Following Zohar’s fall, Flo Rida took to social media to thank “everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son.”
