Flo Rida has been accused of not helping to pay his six-year-old son’s medical bills after he sustained injuries from a serious fall last week.
The issue was raised by the mother of Flo Rida’s son, who was present with six-year-old Zohar P. Dillard when he plummeted out of a fifth-floor apartment window in Jersey City on March 4. The mother, Alexis Adams, is also currently filing suit against Pitch Perfect 74, LLC, Goldberg Management, the company that owns an apartment complex.

Adams claims Zohar, who is disabled, suffered “a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding and collapsed lungs,” and other injuries from the fall, according to a statement from her lawyer obtained by Insider. Adams also added that Flo Rida, real-name Tramar Dillard, is allegedly not making any payments to help their son recover, despite being previously mandated by a 2018 court-ordered child support agreement.

“I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting, and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero,” Adams stated in part.
Following Zohar’s fall, Flo Rida took to social media to thank “everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son.”
“He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories. “I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remain a private matter.”
Adams attorney Steven P. Haddad has demanded a jury trial and said the building managers are at fault for not installing proper window guards and in turn maintaining the building “in a negligent, careless and reckless manner creating foreseeable and dangerous conditions.”
Adams had previously told News 12 New Jersey in a written statement that: “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces…I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures.”

While Flo Rida did not respond to Insider’s request for comment, this is not the first time the rapper has been accused of neglecting child support payments.
An attorney for Flo Rida had previously asked a judge in 2018 to dismiss a child support case due to a technicality, but a judge insisted he must pay Alexis Adams $8,000 a month.
The Daily Mail had also previously sat down with Alexis Adams in 2018, who claimed that Flo Rida neglected Zohar, and at one point allegedly referred to him as a “devil child.”
