Finesse2Tymes has addressed the recent deaths at his and GloRilla’s concert in Rochester, New York, laughing at the notion that he’s somehow to blame.
The Memphis rappers performed at the Main Street Armory on Sunday (March 5), where two women in their 30s were killed as a result of a crowd rush.

Eight other people were injured during the panic, which was sparked by unconfirmed reports of shots being fired inside the 5,000-capacity venue. One of the victims remains in critical condition.
Finesse2Tymes later addressed the deadly concert on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Shty crazy, Wunt event there, Folks want me to lose so bad [face palm emoji] Why?”
During a brief chat with TMZ in New York City on Tuesday (March 7), the Bread Gang representative was asked about his IG post and the tragedy that unfolded at his and GloRilla’s show.

Finesse — whose crew was accused of shooting up and robbing a cannabis store during his performance in Knoxville, Tennessee in January — then suggested that those pointing the finger at him are simply haters desperate to see his downfall.
“Sometimes when you winning and you done won so fast — like right now, I’m like a created player in an NBA game or something, so I’m frowned upon,” he added. “You know how people mad when you play with a created player? I’m a created player.”
The 30-year-old did eventually send his condolences to the victims and their families, saying: “But as far as the situation in New York, condolences to the family and the people who was injured. That’s what I wanted to say.”
He also shrugged off any potential legal fallout from the fatal concert, claiming the crowd stampede was caused by someone falling, not violence.
“I think it was a situation where someone fell, and people started running, things got out of control and innocent people got hurt,” he said. “But it wasn’t nothing violent going on.”
Rochester police have yet to determine exactly what caused the deadly crowd surge, but are investigating various possible causes “including crowd size, shots fired, pepper spray, and more,” according to CBS News.
In contrast to Finesse2Tymes, GloRilla has issued a more somber response to the tragic incident.

Rochester Mayor Malik Evans called the fatal stampede “totally unacceptable” and promised a thorough investigation into whether the Main Street Armory had the necessary safety measures in place for a large crowd.
The venue’s next scheduled show, a March 11 performance by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, has since been canceled.
