Fat Joe has weighed in on Daz Dillinger’s claim that no one associated with Death Row Records was jealous of 2Pac because, according to him, they “made 2Pac.”
He made the remarks during an Instagram Live last week wherein he responded to Suge Knight, who suggested that the people around the late rapper – Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre – were jealous of him.
In his own Instagram Live on Sunday (February 4), Joey Crack shared his thoughts on what Daz said and agreed that the MC’s associates weren’t really jealous of him.

“You know when Death Row grabbed 2Pac, he was already the most popular guy,” the Terror Squad boss said. “He was a super, duper, duper star. And one night — the night I was there — when you hear the record [where] Biggie and 2Pac [raps the song], I’m standing right next to them. I’m on stage with them. We was at Big Daddy Kane‘s show at Madison Square Garden.”
He continued: “The point I’m tryna make prior to that is when 2Pac walks into the arena, the crowd is going crazy. This is right after Juice. There’s no way 2Pac wasn’t lit before he went to Death Row. He was super, the most talked about guy in the world.

“Now I do understand when he says, ‘How could I be jealous of him if I gave him hits?’ Very important! I’ve given artists hits and people tell me, ‘Yo, how you give them hits?’ and I’m like, ‘It’s my brother. I love them, I love the artist.’ So it’s very unselfish to work with an artist and give them hits!”
He concluded: “I do not believe Daz was jealous of Tupac Shakur or Snoop Dogg or none of them. Let’s be happy they have so much history together and it’s so amazing.”
Suge Knight’s jealousy comments aired as part of a December episode of his Collect Call podcast, during which he said: “When Pac got bigger than everybody on Death Row, that’s when the jealousy kicked in. I guess that’s when that plot kicked in.”
He also claimed that fans went from asking people such as Dr. Dre and Snoop for a photos and autographs to asking them where ‘Pac was at, saying: “Everything was shifted from everybody else to 2Pac. And I think jealousy’s what made our shit fuck up.”
As previously mentioned, Daz strongly disagreed the above comments.
“Yo, I got a problem with this,” he said in his lengthy response. “People always saying that Snoop. Dr. Dre, us, everybody — we was jealous of 2Pac. How can we be jealous of 2Pac and we made 2Pac?
“We put that album [All Eyez On Me] together. We came over there, we gave him music. We did that. We wanted him to be the man of the man, so how was we jealous putting his album together? Taking songs from us and giving it to him — how is that jealousy?”

He continued: “The only jealousy there was, was Suge Knight in his ear and everybody[‘s] ear causing confusion. Look at that muthafucka now. All on his little podcast always talking shit. Kill that noise! Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre none of us — we was never jealous of 2Pac.
“Because we could go out in the streets and hang out and do what the fuck we wanna do. He was limited for what he had to do. And we was the one that was producing and creating a masterpiece, All Eyez On Me. So who’s jealous? I think Suge Knight was jealous.”
