Eve has been announced as the latest artist to join the Houston Rodeo, appearing during Bun B‘s “Takeover” of the annual Texas event.
The Ruff Ryders’ First Lady was announced as part of the lineup on the official Houston Rodeo Instagram account on Thursday (March 7).

“Ain’t no guessing, it’s E-V-E joinin’ @bunb’s All-American Takeover on March 12,” the Rodeo wrote in the caption, while identifying Eve as “reppin’ East Coast by way of Philadelphia.”
No word as to whether Eve will be hitting the stage with a performance, or supporting the Houston O.G. in another capacity.
While she’s been quiet on the music front, Eve will be revealing everything about her musical journey — from her humble Philly roots to Grammy-winning superstardom — in her new memoir, Who’s That Girl?, which will be co-authored with Kathy Iandoli.
“I’m excited for people to get to know me on a deeper level,” she said about the project in a statement to People. “This story is decades in the making.”

In an Instagram post promoting the book, she wrote: “Y’all, I am excited to announce my autobiography ‘Who’s That Girl?’ is coming out on September 17th. It’s been a journey down memory lane and I can’t wait for you all to read it.”
As for Bun B, he made headlines during a late February interview with the 85 South Comedy Show, where the UGK veteran discussed his pivot to being a restaurant owner and the freedom it has earned him over the past few years.

“A lot of people think this rap shit is going to get you everywhere you want to go,” he said. “No, they want to know how you became successful; what is your skillset; what did you work hard and train to do; how does that transcribe into other spaces?”
The rapper said that his restaurant, which started with pop-ups before expanding to a physical location last June, began growing once he used his music business connections to move into big festivals.
“That’s all I needed with this burger, was the opportunity to cut through all the bullshit and just put the burger in front of muthafuckas and let them try the burger,” he said. “So I took the burger everywhere that I could go.”
Bun remembered his experience at Coachella, where Trill Burgers set up a stand in 2023. He said that while he couldn’t have gotten in as an artist, as a celebrity food vendor he had priority parking and his own golf carts.

“I’m flexing around these hoes, you know what I’m saying?” he said.
Bun then proceeded to explain how he loved setting up a stall at Rolling Loud because they let him do things his own way with full transparency and flexibility.
