Erykah Badu shared the stage with Rapsody this past weekend to premiere a new collaboration, but it wasn’t just the music that captured fans’ attention.
The pair performed together at Badu’s 53rd birthday celebrations in Dallas on Saturday (February 24), where they debuted an unreleased song called “3:AM.”

Badu appeared at the event in a scantily-clad outfit of a black vest, pink hot pants and thigh-high leather boots, with her derrière largely in display — much to the delight of thirsty fans.
“Erykah Badu got that thang on her,” one person commented on Rapsody’s below Instagram post, while another said: “Okay Badu came through, dimple and all.”

One fan referenced Badu’s past relationship with OutKast legend André 3000, joking: “Andre 3 stacks we understand.”
Rapsody also gave Badu her flowers by captioning her post: “Sarah Bellam aka The Final Boss aka @erykahbadu and I say hello to the lovers, the heartbreakers & the heartbroken. 3:AM (prod by @symbolycone ) It’s 3:am somewhere….to be continued….”
Erykah Badu previously made headlines for a similar reason last summer when she posted a photo on social media of herself flashing her bottom during a performance, comparing it to a curvy-shaped strawberry.
Despite her famed assets, one person the singer will likely never find pursuing her is Cam’ron.

During a recent episode of his and Ma$e‘s sports show It Is What It Is, the Dipset rapper spoke about Badu’s purportedly mystical effect on men and vowed to never fall under her spell.
While discussing NFL player CJ Stroud’s rumored relationship with Amber Rose, Killa Cam turned his attention to Badu who he initially referred to as “André 3000’s baby mom.”
“She’s a homie too but I told n-ggas, ‘She can’t get nowhere near me with that pussy,’” he said. “That shit she be doin’ to n-ggas is crazy.
“N-ggas be regular up until they fuck her. Then you start wearing turbans, yarmulkes, the tie-dye shirts. No, no, no! You got to chill.”

Meanwhile, Rapsody has been teasing her new album for some time and dropped the lead single, the Hit-Boy-produced “Asteroids,” late last year. It’s unclear whether “3:AM” is also intended for the album.
The as-yet-untitled project will serve as the North Carolina’s native first since 2019’s Eve.
