Eminem is stirring up excitement for the NFL‘s upcoming draft, which is set to take place next week in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
On Friday (April 19), Shady Records co-founder Paul Rosenberg shared a clip hyping up the annual football event. In it, the D12 rapper and league commissioner Roger Goodell sit side-by-side, albeit with contrasting energy levels.

When the businessman corrects himself with the same vigor, Em hilariously asks the staff behind the camera: “Am I being Punk’d?”
The 89th annual NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 25–27.
Earlier this week, the “Superman” hitmaker hinted that he could be involved with the 2024 NFL Draft after Big Sean announced that he will be performing before the first round.
Following the announcement, the organization began teasing an appearance from the veteran spitter by posting a picture of him and Goodell together, which turned out to be from the ad above. As of now, it is unclear if this is the extent of his involvement with the yearly gathering.
Earlier this year, both rappers were in attendance to watch the Detroit Lions’ historic win against the Los Angeles Rams. Em and Sean pulled up to Ford Field in mid-January to cheer on their local team as they secured a 24–23 win to give the Motor City its first playoff victory since January 1992.
The two were photographed on the sideline before the match next to former running back Barry Sanders and retired wide receiver Calvin Johnson.
