“Oh yeah, for the first time ever in Vancouver, Astro and The Boy, we in this bitch,” Drake said on stage before the song started.

“Meltdown” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, serving as the highest-charting song from the album. Its success was perhaps partly driven by Drake’s lyrical shots at Pusha T and Pharrell.

Drake announced he was postponing the Vancouver dates for his It’s All a Blur Tour on Monday (August 28), just hours before the first show was set to take place.

The concerts were pushed back to Tuesday (August 29) and Wednesday (August 30) reportedly due to technical and safety difficulties in the venue.

Prior the concert, there were rumors that Travis Scott would be replacing 21 Savage for the Vancouver dates after it was announced in March that the London-born rapper wouldn’t be part of the tour’s Canadian stops.

Although the reason wasn’t confirmed, there were suggestions that it was due to 21’s ongoing immigration issues after he was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in 2019.
