Brenham, TX

Drake seems ready for his move to Texas, as he is clearly putting effort into looking the part.

On Monday (Jun 17), Drizzy visited the Brenham Saddle Shop. The Western wear store is located approximately 10 miles out from Chappell Hill, which is where he recently purchased a home.

“Yesterday we received a call that a certain person wanted to stop by our store,” the retail outlet posted on Facebook, along with a photograph of the employees posing with the 6 God.

“We dropped everything and opened up for a few hours. We didn’t know what to expect but the whole experience was beyond what we expected. Every single person in his group was extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you Drake and his team for stopping by and getting all fixed up [cowboy emoji]. Welcome to Washington County, Texas!”

Last year, the Canadian superstar bought a 313-acre resort located 45 minutes from Houston for a cool $15 million.

The former resort named the Inn at Dos Brisas closed its doors back in 2022 due to financial issues stemming from the coronavirus pandemic. The following year, Drake swooped in and copped the real-estate gem.

Built in 2002, the property features four casitas (cottages) for guest lodging, an entertainment lodge, a commercial kitchen, a climate-controlled wine room, several pools, a full equestrian facility and more.

The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker teased the purchase back in September with a country-themed post.

The Toronto native first revealed his plans during a tour stop in Houston earlier that week.
