During his verse, Drake adds (also in translation): “You look better with me/ I’ve got some girls texting me on the phone/ Back in Culiacán, washing money from the big guy/ And the weed is Tusi, I’m feeling high/ Baby, pretty girl, tell me now/ Everyone says ‘Daddy,’ but I want no love/ Fleeing to Toronto, the big guy’s territory/ You can see a Rolex on his wrist, a big score.”

This wasn’t the first headline-grabbing news from this week that involved Drake.

Thugger’s X account posted a message that seemed to call for a truce.
“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas,” he wrote. “Music aint the same without us collabin.”
Future seemed to agree with the sentiment, reposting the message to his own X account.
Thug’s call for peace is notable because the Drake-versus-everyone beef exploded into public view this past March with Kendrick Lamar’s verse on a Future/Metro song, “Like That.” Drake and Metro spent some time shortly afterwards going back and forth as well.

Drake has been publicly supportive of Thug while the latter is on trial for racketeering charges. On October 10 he a posted selfie on his Instagram Stories of himself wearing a hoodie and cap from Thugger’s Spider clothing brand. Drizzy wrote: “I ain’t talking to talk man I really put [bread emoji] on the [briefcase emoji] 3 Jeff.”
Drizzy’s comment suggests that he has been contributing money towards Young Thug’s legal defense, something he has done before with controversial Toronto rapper Top5.
