Drake has set the bar high when it comes to his son Adonis’ future hoop dreams.
Drizzy took to Instagram on Thursday (January 18) with a series of photos of Adonis playing basketball and predicted that he’ll be watching his son get drafted by the NBA when he’s older.

“Leaving these here until the 2036 draft,” Drizzy captioned the pics of his son hooping.
With Adonis currently being six years old, Drake believes he has a star on his hands that could be drafted as a neophyte 18-year-old.

Adonis clearly shares his father’s love for basketball as fans have seen a ton of clips of him hooping over the last few years. Adonis has also pulled up to plenty of Toronto Raptors games with his pops to take in the NBA action.
Back in 2021, Drake had Adonis watching LeBron James highlights to get familiar with the King’s iconic career and posted clips to social media.

One play left Adonis speechless when the four-time NBA champion made an improbable block during his second stint playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Drake’s son let out a shrieking, “Oh my God!” in excitement after the sequence.
“Nephew [locked] the hell in!! Yessir,” LeBron responded at the time.
While Drizzy is fully supporting Adonis’ love for hoops, his son made his musical debut last year with an appearance on For All The Dogs.
Adonis’ “My Man Freestyle” served as the closer to Drake’s “Daylight” track. A basketball-themed music video arrived on his dad’s YouTube channel and featured a cameo from Toronto Raptors rookie Gradey Dick.
