Drake has decided to let his fans in on a little secret — not only is he working on new music, but he’s also tapped his buddy Sampha to appear in the upcoming project.
The Toronto rapper took to his Instagram Story on Friday (June 2) to update his loyal fanbase on what he’s been cooking up in the studio. Despite gearing up to jet-set across North America for his It’s All A Blur Tour, the rapper has made time to create new music.

The post sees the two stars sitting side by side in a presumably very fancy restaurant. However, while Drake seemed happy to share the news that they had something “crazy” coming, he also jokingly admitted something was different about the British singer.
“@sampha and me cooking up something crazy…weird you lost your London accent but whatever people evolve I guess…” he wrote.
The pair have a long history and have previously collaborated on some of Drake’s biggest hits like “Too Much,” “The Motion,” and “4422.”
Outside of music, Drake has been quite busy with his sports picks as of late. Recently, the rapper revealed his NBA Finals predictions, and he’s heavily backing the Denver Nuggets with a seven-figure wager.
Just prior to Game 1 between the Nuggets and Miami Heat on Thursday (June 1), the 6 God posted a couple of Stake betting slips to Instagram pledging his allegiance to Denver.
One $250,000 bet finds Drake predicting that the Nuggets will finish the Heat off in 5 games, which would net him $850,000. The other has Drizzy confidently laying out $1million for the Nuggets to win the series, which would put an extra $230,000 in his deep pockets.

If both of his bets come through, the OVO Sound boss’ total winnings will amount to $1,080,000.
The Denver Nuggets were heavy favorites coming into the series and cruised to a 104-93 victory in Game 1 behind a 27-point triple-double performance from Nikola Jokic and 26 points courtesy of Jamal Murray, who — like Drake — also grew up in Ontario.
