Drake has revealed the thought behind his impossible-to-miss getup from the opening night of his joint tour with J. Cole.
During their second performance in Tampa, Florida on Sunday (February 4), Drizzy took the stage at the Amalie Arena and addressed those who had been making fun of what appeared to be a dinosaur spine costume he wore two nights before.

“Everybody had jokes yesterday asking why I wore the spine out here,” he told the crowd.
“You want me to tell you why I wore the spine out here? I wore the spine because most of these guys that I look in the eyes are spineless as fuck, so I had to wear the whole backbone.”

He concluded: “Plus, we made that shit out of the skeletons you got in your closet, so be careful who you talking to, because I will turn up.”
On the first night of the It’s All a Blur — Big As the What? Tour, fans immediately noticed the Canadian superstar’s outfit, which in turn prompted a range of reactions online.
“These stylist be in group chats like ‘watch what I put on this fool tonight,’” one person commented under a Complex post of the performance, while another added: “Why this man Drake wearing a velociraptor spinal cord.”
A third social media user replied: “This is what happens when you surround yourself with people who don’t tell you ‘no.’”
Soon after the show, Drizzy took to his Instagram Stories and shared an image of Japanese artist Shimoda Masakatsu wearing the item, heavily implying that it was Masakatsu who created the costume. The multi-talented creative is famous for the dinosaur head and skeleton pieces he put together in collaboration with Comme des Garçons.

Furthermore, Masakatsu shared an Instagram post of the 6 God wearing the outfit, which he captioned: “How cool is this?”
