Drake fans received an unexpected and not entirely welcome surprise when trying to play one of his albums on Spotify.
In a viral video uploaded by HipHopDX’s Jeremy Hecht on Wednesday (July 10), it was revealed that if a fan used iPhone’s Siri function to ask the device to play Certified Lover Boy, Spotify would instead put on Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us.”

The strange trend was also picked up by several other listeners who posted videos of the glitch on social media.
Siri seems to be doing this because the app is designed to use lyrics — in addition to songs and album titles — to identify music as some users may not know the title of a specific record.
As “Not Like Us” prominently features a reference to the Drake album which goes: “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophile,”, the app appears to be getting confused and sending people to the diss track instead of the 2021 LP from Drizzy.

This is another embarassing moment for the Canadian rapper who is looking to emerge from the other side of his beef with Kendrick Lamar, which he was widely deemed to have lost.
Earlier this week, he was trolled by the Argentinian soccer team after they defeated Canada 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Copa America.

Argentina’s social media account wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Not like us, not with us,” referencing Kendrick‘s chart-topping diss track.
They also posted a picture of the Argentinian team celebrating victory with the words “not like us” above them.
As if being reminded of K. Dot’s scorching diss song wasn’t bad enough, Drake had a pretty steep financial stake on the line during the game.
He revealed before kick off that he had bet $300,000 on Canada overcoming the odds and beating the current World Cup champions, which obviously did not turn out the way that he hoped.

Drizzy also confidently namedropped Messi when sharing his betting slip on social media, writing: “This could get Messi [Canada flag emoji].”
Adding insult to injury, the video for “Not Like Us” then eclipsed Drake’s “Family Matters” on YouTube, racking up over 41 million views in less than a week compared to the 6 God’s 35 million.
