DJ Khaled seemingly hasn’t been able to put down Drake’s new poetry book, and took to social media to support his close collaborator’s latest creative venture.

Drizzy released his first-ever poetry book with Kenza Samir on Friday (June 23) called Titles Ruin Everything/A Stream of Consciousness, and while fans were mostly excited to learn Drake announced a new album in conjunction with the book, Khaled reminded fans not to overlook the “keys” the 6 God has gifted readers.

“The Boy’s special … Listen, The Boy different,” Khaled said in an Instagram video as he read excerpts from the book. “The minute you think you’ve figured out The Boy, the man writes a book … He’s giving you keys. Each key leads to the next key.”

He continued: “See, I’m taking my time reading this. The man wrote a book … Listen man, once you think you figured out Drake, you played yourself.”

Some of these “keys” include one-liners like: “Life isn’t fair, but karma helps,” “Some days I got it all figured out, but most days I never learn” and “Charged it to the game and paid the bill.”

Drake responded to Khaled’s lofty praise in kind, writing in the comments section: “Official Narrator.”

In addition to announcing that he’s working on another Scary Hours EP, Drake first teased the poetry book during the inaugural episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Table For One, last year.

“Shout-out to Kenza. Kenza, I love you. I want to send you some love,” he said. “Me and Kenza have a book coming out this year — a poetry book.”

To promote the book, Drizzy took out full-page advertisements in publications like the New York Post and Houston Chronicle, which featured a QR code navigating fans to a website with a statement highlighting the upcoming project.

“I made an album to go with the book,” the declaration read. “They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.” However, no other details regarding the project — such as a release date — were disclosed.

The upcoming project will mark the Toronto native’s fourth in a two-year span following 2021’s Certified Lover Boy, last year’s house-inspired Honestly, Nevermind and his full-length collaboration with 21 Savage, Her Loss.

In support of the latter, Drake and 21 will be hitting the road this summer on the epic, 56-show It’s All a Blur Tour, which kicks off on July 5 in Chicago, Illinois and wraps up on October 9 in Columbus, Ohio.
