Diddy’s upcoming album will host a deep roster of A-listers, and the Hip Hop mogul has now revealed that it will also include The Weeknd’s final feature under his current stage name.
On Wednesday (August 30), the Bad Boy boss shared a clip promoting The Love Album: Off the Grid, which is set to arrive on September 15. Playing over the video is the impossible-to-mistake voice of The Weeknd, singing what is apparently his final assist under said moniker.

“IT’S OFFICIAL @THEWEEKND’S LAST COLLAB OF HIS CAREER WILL BE ON…. THE LOVE ALBUM : OFF THE GRID!” Diddy captioned the post. “WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA.”
“Another one of me won’t come around,” the Canadian vocalist can be hear singing in the preview. It is unclear if the footage in the social media posts are extracted from the music video of “Another One Of Me.”
In May, The Weeknd hinted at retiring his stage name after his next project, admitting that he wants to “kill” off his musical persona.
Abel Tesfaye dropped the bombshell in an interview with W Magazine, where he and his Idol co-star Lily Rose-Depp sat down to speak about their HBO series that was recently cancelled.
“I’m going through a cathartic path right now,” the 33-year-old crooner said. “It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close the Weeknd chapter. I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.”
Elsewhere, he added: “The album I’m working on now is probably my last hurrah as The Weeknd. This is something that I have to do. As The Weeknd, I’ve said everything I can say.”

The statement comes after The Weeknd confirmed fans were witnessing the birth of a new trilogy shortly after the release of his last album, Dawn FM, in January 2022. He seemed to imply that the new trilogy had begun with After Hours back in 2020.
“I wonder… did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy,” he tweeted at the time.
