Diddy’s alleged abuses recounted by Dawn Richard in a lawsuit “do not align with” the memories of former her former Diddy-Dirty Money groupmate Kalenna Harper.
Harper issued a statement on her Instagram Story on Friday (September 13) regarding Richard’s suit, which mentions Harper numerous times and recounts events at which she was allegedly present, including a meeting at Diddy’s home where, according to the suit, he choked Cassie and threw a “scalding hot pan of eggs” at her.

Harper’s statement says of the suit that, “[W]hile I was present in some of the professional settings mentioned, many of allegations and incidents described in this suit are not representative of my experiences, and some do not align with my own truth.”
Elsewhere in the statement, she says: “While I fully respect Dawn’s right to recount her experiences, I want to emphasize that her account reflects her personal perspective and should not be interpreted as a universal truth applicable to everyone involved.”

She says of herself and her husband/manager Tony Vick: “We were not involved in, nor were we aware of, any behavior that could be considered abusive or unlawful.”

Richard’s suit was filed on Tuesday (September 10). It contains accusations of verbal abuse, assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Diddy between 2004 and 2011, during which time Richard was signed to Bad Boy as a member of the group Danity Kane and later Diddy-Dirty Money.
The 41-year-old singer claims that Diddy (real name Sean Combs) once barged into her dressing room while she was naked and groped her breasts and butt.
On another occasion, he allegedly told her to come over to his Miami home and greeted her wearing only underwear. When Richard asked him to put on clothes, Diddy allegedly refused, screaming: “This is my fucking house!”
The Goldenheart artist further claims that she was tormented by Puffy while signed to his label, with the Bad Boy boss allegedly forcing her to rehearse for 48-hour stretches without sleep, causing her to lose a lot of weight, suffer from dehydration and fatigue and develop rashes.

She also alleges that Diddy once locked her in a car with heavily-tinted windows for two hours as she screamed for help, forcing her to phone her dad for help.
When her father traveled from Baltimore to New York and threatened to call the cops on Diddy, the record executive told him to “think about your daughter” and “think about your daughter’s career,” Richard claims.
