DeJ Loaf is postponing her ‘Where My Fans’ tour just days ahead of what was supposed to be its kickoff, but she’s softening the blow on fans by revealing she has a new album about to drop.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday (September 26), DeJ announced that the trek would be paused for now – but confirmed it is not cancelled.

“We have good news and we have good news!” she wrote. “The good news is that the tour isn’t canceled, it’s postponed! Meaning it’s still happening just just at a later date! My team and I will be rescheduling all dates and adding new ones! The other good news is that I have time to give you all what you truly deserve and what I deserve as well!

“Brand new music to sing/rap along with for the ‘Where My Fans’ tour once we do hit the road! Patience is a virtue! For those who are with me until the wheels fall off it’s up and I can’t wait to see you all soon! Don’t be mad. I have a huge surprise for you all on the way!”

In late 2021, DeJ Loaf announced plans to hang her mic up for good, writing on Twitter, “Probably never drop music again.”

Just days later, however, the “Try Me” star had a change of heart after receiving support from fellow Detroit native Sada Baby. The “Whole Lotta Choppas” rapper took to the platform to give DeJ her flowers while pleading with her not to quit music.
