“So yeah, Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA album,” the Bruiser Brigade boss told the crowd after debuting a new track. “Y’all just heard the first song, coming soon. Motherfuckers get ready for Peggy and Danny, bitch. I’m out!”
The glitchy track in question is called “Lean Beef Patty” and it’s finally been released to the public. The duo also announced their album Scaring The Hoes would be arriving on March 24. Listen below.
The pair previously collaborated on “Negro Spiritual” from Brown’s 2019 effort uknowhatimsayin¿, which also featured the JPEGMAFIA-produced “3 Tearz” with Run The Jewels.
Outside of music, the duo also recently sat down together on Danny Brown’s podcast The Danny Brown Show, where Brown shared his feelings about the current drill movement in the Bronx.
“I got some funny shit for rap, I wanna say, what’s up with New York drill music?” Brown asked around the 48-minute mark.
“What you mean?” JPEG asked.
“Why all these n-ggas sound like Batman?” Brown continued. “All these n-ggas rap like Batman Beyond what the fuck is wrong with y’all n-ggas man? That shit ain’t fire! … You know they all wanna be like a demon. N-gga you 16 your balls ain’t even dropped yet. You ain’t even got a deep voice yet. These n-ggas rapping like villains.”
