Conway The Machine has staked his claim as the best rapper alive with a new teaser for his upcoming album Slant Face Killah — and it stars an unlikely pop star.
Narrated by the closing lines from the cult French film La Haine, much of the clip appears to be set in Paris and even includes a cameo from Dua Lipa — who he met in the French capital last fall and called a “great friend.”

Posting the video on Instagram on Wednesday (May 8), the former Griselda rapper boldly declared: “I really did it this time!!! I fucking did it!! I’m iller than all these n-ggas! I can’t wait for y’all to hear this new shit!! SFK FRIDAY.”
The teaser also features appearances from Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Havoc, Tony Yayo, Dave East, Maino and Larry June.

Despite Dua Lipa’s appearance in the trailer, she is not among the stacked supporting cast for SFK, whose title is short for Slant Face Killah.
The album will boast appearances from Raekwon, Method Man, Ab-Soul, Joey Bada$$, Tech N9ne and others, along with production from the likes of Swizz, The Alchemist and Daringer.

Notably missing from the features list, however, is Conway’s Buffalo, New York brethren Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher.
Last week, The Machine took to Instagram Live and explained why he decided to changed the album title from Won’t He Do It: Side B, which is what he was initially marketing his next release as.
“We was gonna call this shit Won’t He Do It: Side B, but too much label speculation and all that [is] why we can’t use that title no more. So I just switched the shit to Slant Face Killah,” he said. “I know a lot of people been asking in the comments and shit, but that’s really what it is.”
Slant Face Killah arrives this Friday (May 10). Coincidentally, it drops on the same day as Set the Tone, the star-studded new album from its namesake Ghostface Killah.
