Casanova has asked his supporters for prayers while he remains behind bars awaiting sentencing in his drug and racketeering case.
Big Cas got ahold of his Instagram account from prison on Tuesday (May 9) and posted a Story asking for spiritual support from his fans and followers ahead of his sentencing next month.

“June 27 I get sentence keep me in your prayers,” the Brooklyn rapper (born Caswell Senior) wrote.
Casanova’s sentencing relates to his alleged involvement in the sweeping RICO case against the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang.
The sentencing hearing was slated to take place earlier this year, but was delayed for unknown reasons.
He faces up to 60 years behind bars for his array of alleged gang-related crimes.

Casanova has been behind bars since December 2020 when he was named as one of 18 alleged Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang members indicted in a sprawling drug conspiracy case.
Despite maintaining his innocence, Cas pleaded guilty to two counts in May 2022: racketeering conspiracy and narcotics conspiracy.

According to a report from Rolling Stone at the time, the Roc Nation artist was moved to accept the prosecutors’ offer after someone essentially snitched on him.
In his guilty plea, Casanova admitted to trafficking at least 100 kilograms of marijuana and being a signal caller for the gang.
The 36-year-old also copped to his involvement in a 2018 New York City robbery that left a woman named Niya Rucker badly injured, as well as a July 2020 Florida shooting following a gambling dispute.

Cas posted a message to his Instagram a couple of weeks ago in April, addressing those who have crossed him during this trying time.
“Never re-friend a MF who tried to destroy ya character, ya money, or ya relationship,” he wrote. “A snake only sheds its skin to become a bigger snake!….Hope that don’t go over y’all heads.”
