Cardi B is being accused of attempting to silence Tasha K in the latest documents filed by the blogger in their long-running legal dispute.
TMZ first spotted Tasha’s claim, which was filed in federal bankruptcy court on Tuesday (January 7) and viewed by HipHopDX. It it, Tasha alleges Cardi has not been “acting in her economic interest, but seeks to silence Debtor by ending her bankruptcy case and her Career.”

What Tasha is upset about is Cardi’s attempt last month to get the YouTuber’s bankruptcy case thrown out. Tasha had filed for bankruptcy back in 2023.
Bardi claimed that Tasha and her husband had “orchestrated a months-long scheme to hinder, delay, and defraud” the Bronx rapper’s efforts to collect the $3.9 million she won from Tasha after suing the blogger back in 2019, following what she believed was a malicious smear campaign involving several false statements about her.

Tasha now says that Cardi’s attempt to get the bankruptcy attempted nixed is actually a backdoor attempt to silence her voice. She says that Cardi is insisting on a non-disparagement clause “so broad that it would undermine [Tasha’s] Career.”
“She seeks to sabotage Debtor’s Career through unreasonable restrictions on her First Amendment rights,” the filing continues. “Having failed to bully Debtor into accepting an overarching non-disparagement clause, Claimant filed the Motion to Dismiss to harm Debtor’s Career and end Debtor’s bankruptcy case.”
In addition to her long-running battle with Tasha K, Cardi has been busy finishing up her sophomore album — and she’s taking extreme steps to do so.
Over the weekend, the Bronx superstar went live on social media to reveal that during the “very crucial” month of January, she wanted to avoid anything that could take her away from her artistic goals, including sex.

“I don’t even want to take dick right now, because every single time I take dick, I get distracted. I don’t want no distraction,” she explained. “I put a little pause on my dating life because January is very, very, very, very important, and I have a mission to complete. And if I don’t complete this mission, it’s gonna fuck up the schedule for this year.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper said that even a few days into the new year, “I already feel like I’ve been getting tested.” But, she said, she hasn’t yet buckled.
