Cardi B Reassures Fans About New Music After Calling Her Label A 'Correctional Facility'

Cardi B has told fans they can still expect new music even after she branded her label Atlantic Records a “correctional facility”.

The controversial female MC appeared to ruffle a few feathers after she hopped online and posted a picture of herself in the recording studio.

She captioned the Instagram Story: “Atlantic Records correctional facilities.”

After implying that she was signed to a jail, Cardi has been forced to explain what she meant by the comment.

Cardi wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “The fact that I made a little joke about the studio because I been mixing and mastering about 40-50 songs and y’all turned that into I hate creating is crazy
this why artists don’t interact anymore cuz y’all will take one little joke and stretch it wider than y’all assholes.”

She added: “God forbid I make a little sarcastic jokey jokey about motherhood y’all gonna claim I hate my kids and call cps
dweebs.”

Cardi also had to shut down some other rumors recently after she was accused of bleaching her skin.

After sharing a photo of herself and a friend touching her pregnant stomach, an X user questioned whether the rapper was bleaching her skin because she looked paler than usual.

“Bleaching while pregnant?” she hit back with multiple side-eye emojis. “Why must yall be so dumb ? Actually NO ! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic ,this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken ,veins green ASF,can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy

Cardi B recently admitted that she “hated” living in Atlanta as she goes through a divorce from ATL native Offset.

She explained: “I don’t live in Atlanta. I have a house in Atlanta. I only go to Atlanta like three or four times a year. And probably I go for a week, maybe less. I tried to move to Atlanta in 2018 and I lived there for like six months. And I hated it. I don’t have not one friend in Atlanta, and I don’t have not even one family member in Atlanta. So I just don’t like Atlanta.”
