Cardi B is back to rapping, and is showing off her raunchy side on Rob49‘s new single “On Dat Money.”

The collaboration between Cardi and the New Orleans spitter was released on Friday (June 19). Cardi’s verse finds her expanding on the song’s hook, rapped by Rob49: “I’m a rich n-gga, I’ll fuck you right there on dat money.”

Just as Cardi was gearing up for the release of “On Dat Money,” she was met with criticism from Joe Budden, and the star wasted no time in responding.

Issues between the two resurfaced on Thursday (July 18) when Budden claimed on his self-titled podcast that Cardi would never release a follow-up to her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.

We’ll never get another album again. I’m standing on that […] Cardi’s got something dropping with my man Rob[49] on Friday — that’s gonna be crazy,” he said, referencing their “On Dat Money” collaboration. “But that’s what Cardi’s gonna be now, just a singles artist.”

He added: “I’m sure Offset wants Cardi to put an album out. Ay, fellas out there, boyfriends, y’all know that feeling right? When you want your bitch to get a job. You in the house and your bitch won’t leave […] ‘Ain’t you got an album to do? Ain’t you got a single?’”

Cardi quickly responded on X Spaces, claiming she gave Joe Budden a lap dance during her past stint as a stripper and witnessed him taking drugs.

“I gave you a lap dance two times in fucking Starlets. You was high as fuck. High as fuck on coke, n-gga. I could smell that coke on your breath,” she said.

“I don’t give a fuck when people talk shit about me. It’s just the fact you always talk shit about me, Joe Budden. Out of nowhere! You would think I did something to this n-gga. For the past two years, this n-gga has only talked bad things about me. Why?”

She added: “I ain’t fucking Drake, n-gga. I ain’t gonna write no nice paragraph. I’ma come at you. I’ma shine that head of yours.”

The Bronx rap star went on to criticize the podcaster for “hating” on Drake, citing his suggestion that the 6 God is being forced to tour relentlessly as part of his $400 million deal with Universal Music Group.

After Cardi hit back, Budden initially said he would never cover her music again but then made the rare move of apologizing to her.

However, he denied her claims that she had danced for him and that he had done cocaine.

“She cursing me smooth out but she still hilarious lol…. I’m going to bed, i apologize to @iamcardib for whatever i did and peace and love to all,” Budden wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

He also said: “I really just wanted an album from someone whose music i love [facepalm emoji].”

Cardi had the last word in the spat, tweeting: “I wanna say this to Bardi gang or anybody who’s just a fan of my music or even my craziness… I have my good days and my bad days but you know what, whether it’s good or bad I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album.
