Cardi turned 32 on Friday (October 11) and marked the occasion by throwing a Sex in the City-themed party in New York City that was attended by her sister Hennessy Carolina Almánza and a swarm friends.

The birthday girl turned heads at the Big Apple bash, not only for her sexually-suggestive, Henny-fueled dance moves but for her provocative outfit, which she addressed on social media.

Alongside pictures of herself in the revealing dress, Cardi wrote on Instagram: “So let me tell ya about my little thotty dress.. the dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric…

“[S]o I got my ass in a truck and went to Staten dolls gentlemen’s club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night.”

Cardi then made the big reveal about her stripper past: “I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B.. they still treat me like CAMILLA (Fun fact.. that was my stripper name.”

Cardi B has previously detailed her controversial past as a stripper, revealing some less-than-savory details about her dealings with customers.

In a video that resurfaced in 2019, she admitted that she would invite men to a hotel before drugging and robbing them.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker later attempted to explain herself: “Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive. I never claimed to be perfect or come from a perfect world.”

She added: “I’m a part of a Hip Hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are.”

Cardi also said: “I never glorified the things I brought up in that [Instagram] Live. I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it. I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options.”

At the time, Cardi received much backlash for her comments, which were made before she blew up. Because of the nature of Cardi’s confession, some compared her to Bill Cosby who was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting women before his conviction was overturned on a point of law.
