After implying that she was signed to a jail, the Bronx superstar was forced to explain what she meant by the comment.

ā€œThe fact that I made a little joke about the studio because I been mixing and mastering about 40-50 songs and yā€™all turned that into I hate creating is crazy,ā€ she wrote on X. ā€œthis why artists donā€™t interact anymore cuz yā€™all will take one little joke and stretch it wider than yā€™all assholes.ā€

She added: ā€œGod forbid I make a little sarcastic jokey jokey about motherhood yā€™all gonna claim I hate my kids and call cpsā€¦dweebs.ā€

Weeks earlier, Bardi revealed that the albumā€™s photos are also done, telling a fan on X: ā€œā€œAlbum covers are taken. I just donā€™t know which to pick.ā€

Cardi has not released many details about her sophomore album. But recentlyĀ some hints dropped as to what the title might be.

TMZĀ spottedĀ that in July, Cardiā€™s company Washpoppin, Inc. applied for trademarks to two phrases, specifically wanting to use both in ā€œPre-recorded record albums featuring music,ā€ among other related uses.
