Cam’ron has finally met the woman of his dreams — Nia Long — more than a year after he slid into her DMs.
The Dipset rapper took to his Instagram on Sunday (December 17) to share photographic evidence of their meeting. The rapper-turned-podcaster was all smiles as he greeted the Life in a Year actress, who seemed equally thrilled to meet Cam’ron.

Earlier this month, the Dipset MC revealed that his 14-month-old effort to court the beauty on his Instagram had failed.
The topic came up while Cam and his It Is What It Is co-host discussed the recent spat between Lebron James and Ime Udoka.

“You know, I DM’d Nia after the whole shit happened man,” he said. “I was perturbed. Imma have Stat read it cuz she’s a better reader. I want you to rate the rizz.”
“I wasn’t gonna bring that up, Ma$e brought Nia into this, my boo,” Cam stated after the full message had been read. “Yo, open your DMs when you get a chance, Nia. This joint still sitting there so you can read it personally.
Cam’ron then took to Instagram to share the clip from his popular sports podcast, along with the original message, captioning the post: “She still hasn’t open my DM.”
Cam’ron’s overture came in the fall of 2022, just weeks after it emerged that Nia Long’s longtime partner, Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, had an affair with an employee of the franchise. Udoka was suspended for the entire 2022-23 NBA season after violating the Celtics’ code of conduct.

Long and Udoka began dating in 2010 and got engaged in 2015. They share a 10-year-old son, Kez. The pair have since split up.
Nia Long, who has appeared in such films as Friday, Boyz N the Hood and Love Jones and on television opposite Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, never released a statement regarding her relationship status.
