Cam’ron and Ma$e went after Houston Rockets superstar Jalen Green for getting model Draya Michele pregnant.
On an episode of It Is What It Is that aired on Monday (March 11), the co-hosts reacted to the couple’s official announcement, noting that it was “poor shot selection.”

Killa Cam kicked things off by saying: “These young basketball players was kids and they watched these bitches on TV growing up. It’s like this, Murda … It’s almost like, ‘Yo, you know I bagged Phylicia Rashad, right? You know I got Bill Cosby‘s TV wife.’ I’m talking about when we was 21 or 22.”
He continued: “You can’t get mad at the female, first of all. Second of all, if Draya announced it, my question is this: Did he co-sign it?’ That’s the question.”
Ma$e then responded: “That’s a good statement, Killa. What’s he saying? Is he happy? If he likes it, pause. I love it.”

Cam’ron then said he would want to hear from the NBA player’s family, adding: “You know who we would really like to talk to? Jalen Green’s parents to see if they approve … They probably like, ‘You dumb motherfucka. What the fuck are you doing, my n-gga?'”
Co-host Treasure Wilson then revealed that Michele has a child the same age as Jalen Green, which prompted the aforementioned pun from Money Ma$e: “This is poor shot selection.”

The stars of It Is What It Is weren’t the only ones with opinions on the expecting couple as Joe Budden offered up his take on the situation in January, even before Draya made the announcement official.
On an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the hosts discussed what was then a rumor sparked by the 39-year-old model and actress, who was spotted rocking an oversized pair of overalls at a Rockets game. Some believed the item was an attempt to conceal a baby bump.
“In a few years, he’ll be making $300 million. He will max out. He’ll be one of those guys,” said Budden’s co-host Antwan “Ish” Marby, having highlighted Green’s lofty earning potential.
The Slaughterhouse MC then chimed in: “She looks absolutely nuts […] If you want to fuck a 21-year-old, cool, but now you got a baby by a 21-year-old? You are a predator!”

The rapper-turned-podcaster went on to cite concerns about young athletes losing big chunks of their wealth to “predatorial” women who view childbirth as a financial opportunity.
“It’s too many horror stories of athletes losing everything that they ever have because they are not insulated, because there are no barriers because there is nobody instructing them,” he said.
