In a statement on their website, KITH said: “KITH presents its first delivery of Spring 2024 — an elevated take on transitional wardrobing featuring new silhouettes and staple classics expressed in lighter springtime hues.

“To celebrate the launch of this collection, KITH is proud to announce the release of its first single, ‘Last Stop,’ featuring longtime friends of the brand, Cam’ron and Swizz Beatz. This song serves as the soundtrack to KITH Spring 2024, which features Cam’ron as the face of this season’s campaign.

“KITH Founder, CEO & Creative Director, Ronnie Fieg, executive produced the song and tapped his friend and collaborator Cam’ron to deliver an original verse on an instrumental produced by Swizz Beatz.”

Fieg also discussed his decision to choose Killa Cam to front the label’s first release.

He said on Instagram: “I decided Cam was the perfect look and sound for Spring and I pictured the colorful theme of the collection working perfectly with his aesthetic. When I called him, I walked him through the creative of building a subway car set flooded with flowers and he was hyped on the direction.

“After a few days, he called me and told me he was going to put me in touch with @jonnyshipes so he could help me set up the entity so KITH Records could own the track and stream it on multiple platforms. It ends up being a @therealswizzz track, which made it even more family and we launched it last night with Flex on Hot 97.”

He added: “The amount of boxes this is checking off of my bucket list is crazy.”

Cam’ron has been more prolific musically lately than he has been in a while, dropping projects in 2022 and 2023 — U Wasn’t There with A-Trak and The Lost Files Vol. 1, respectively — as well as peer-approved freestyles that he performed on his aforementioned sports show.
