Cam’ron believes he helped push the blockbuster trade through to have Damian Lillard land with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Killa Cam and Ma$e released another episode of It Is What It Is on Thursday (September 28) breaking down the Dame Time deal and since Lillard was on their show last week, Cam wants his credit for his role in the trade going down.

“I just want to take my credit because I think I made the trade happen,” Cam’ron testified. “We had Dame up here and Dame was very politically correct in answering his questions saying in a perfect world he’d be staying in Portland. And I took that as the world ain’t perfect.”
“I seen the writing on the wall for me, personally, when they got rid of C.J. McCollum because Simons was doing good. Then when they drafted Scott they’re looking for a new backcourt they’re rebuilding… They just didn’t want to ship him to the Raptors.”

Shortly after the trade announcement broke, Cam’ron confirmed the news in an Instagram video on Wednesday afternoon (September 27) in which he claimed to have spoken to Lillard about the deal over text.
“So I just got the text from Damian Lillard myself. It’s true, he’s going to the Milwaukee Bucks,” the Dipset rapper said. “It’s no sources that you have to say that’s been told to you.
“I actually spoke to Dame via text. He’s going to the Milwaukee Bucks. Congratulations, Dame Lillard. Let’s go get that championship, n-gga.”
Lillard requested a trade out of Portland earlier in the summer and while many thought his preferred destination was the Miami Heat, Dame Time will be going to Milwaukee to team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo in pursuit of his first NBA title.

Snoop Dogg also reacted to the shocking trade news earlier this week and saluted the move to the Eastern Conference for Dame.
“Dame Lillard to the Bucks? That’s good,” he said. “Going to the East, nephew. Ball out. You got Giannis on your squad now. Ugh! The East just got nasty. Lakers, we know what we gon’ do. But congrats to my nephew, Dame Lillard. Dame Time. Go get yours, nephew.”
He added: “I love it when a baller get his money. Go get to where he tryna get to. Good looking out, NBA. Bucks. I like bucks. Big bucks. No whammies.”
