Busta Rhymes has announced that his 12th studio album is on the way — and fans won’t have to wait long to hear it.
In a surprise announcement made on Instagram on Wednesday (October 23), the legendary New York MC revealed that his second album in as many years is set to drop next month.

Alongside an album artwork teaser which featured Busta’s logo and the eyes of a dragon, the “Gimme Some More” rapper wrote: “THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WON’T EVER STOP, EVER!! NEW ALBUM LOADING BY THE DRAGON DROPPING 11.29.24!! JESUS CHRIST!!”
Further details, such as a tracklist and features, are under wraps for now.
The announcement comes exactly a year to the day since Busta announced his previous album Blockbusta, which was also released the following month.
That project reached number 42 on the Billboard 200 and boasted a star-studded supporting cast that included Chris Brown, Young Thug, Kodak Black, Quavo and BIA.

There was plenty of firewpoerr behind the boards as well, with frequent collaborators Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and Pharrell serving as executive producers.
While this new album appears to be a solo effort, Busta Rhymes has also teased a new album from Flipmode Squad, which would mark their first since 1998.

In a social media post in March, he wrote: “BRAND NEW FLIPMODE SQUAD ALBUM IS COMIN’!! 26YRS LATER!! STAY TUNED SHIT BOUT TO GET A DIFFERENT TYPE A DANGEROUS OUT THIS BITCH!! ALBUM TITLE COMIN’SOON!!!”
In addition to being more prolific on the music front, the rap veteran has also jumped back in the acting saddle.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Bus-a-Bus had been cast in the remake of The Naked Gun alongside Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Paul Walter Hauser.
It has not yet been revealed which character Busta is playing.

The role will be his first movie gig in almost 10 years followng 2016’s King of the Dancehall, which also starred Nick Cannon.
Busta was a prolific actor in the late ’90s and early ’00s, appearing in films such as the Shaft remake alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Narc, Higher Learning and Halloween: Resurrection.
